The St Francis Priory Community
Thursday 22nd August 2024

Br. Michael (Guardian) left for Oxford on Thursday 22nd August 2024 and Br. Jinson (Parish Priest) left on Sunday 25th August 2024.

On the Sunday at 9:30, Br. Jinson celebrated Holy Mass, at which he said goodbye to the parishioners. He also came to the beginning of Mass at 12:00 to say goodbye to the Polish community. Between Masses, there was coffee and cake in the hall to express gratitude for his 8 years of service in our parish. All were very welcome.

Here is the final photograph of the St Francis Priory Community before they left.

St Francis Church Parish Fair:
Saturday 17th June 2023

St Francis Church held a Parish Fair in a beautifully decorated parking lot by the church. All were welcome to attend, enjoy the program on the stage and join in all the fun activities.

On stage we hosted: Children's Schola and Adult Choir under the name Sound Project. In addition, the Indian Dance Ensemble and Magic Jinson performed. Brother Francis also played and sang. The whole thing was led by great announcers: Karolina and Pawel. We could also have fun with DJ Tom's music.

There were plenty of attractions for children and adults, e.g. face painting and glitter tattoos, integration games. We could also taste grilled delicacies and sweets. There was also the possibility of drawing prizes in the lottery.

It was, above all, an opportunity to get to know each other in a nice, cheerful atmosphere. We would like to thank all the organizers and participants of the festival.

Special thanks to Br Piotr and Linda Cloet for the wonderful pictures.

May devotions to the Blessed Virgin Mary refer to special Marian devotions held in the Catholic Church during the month of May honoring Mary, mother of God, as "the Queen of May". These services may take place inside or outside. A "May Crowning" is a traditional Roman Catholic ritual that occurs in the month of May.
